Bannockburn, IL – 2/1/2006 – Decision Design Corporation (www.decisiondesign.com), a leading custom software development firm, today announced the release of DecisionPM™, a web-enabled employee performance management software system.
DecisionPM is a newly branded suite of software tools that help Human Resources departments manage employee appraisals, objective setting, employee relations, succession planning, recruiting, talent management, and compensation distribution. DecisionPM is unique in the industry with its enterprise class quality combined with its low cost of acquisition, customization, and maintenance. The system was specially designed to integrate well with SAP, Peoplesoft, Lawson, and other HRIS systems. Unique to the industry, Decision Design is making the product suite available with unlimited licensing and use rules, removing the restrictions that most other vendors require of their products.
DecisionPM is a reengineered set of previously released stand-alone software products, upgraded as an integrated suite of HR tools. The product is being released in 2 offerings, each based on company size. DecisionPM Enterprise is designed for companies with approximately 2,000-25,000 employees and DecisionPM is for smaller companies, from 100-2,000 employees. “We saw that the appraisal software marketplace was fragmented, with some products targeting large companies and others targeting small companies”, said Monty Davis, President of Decision Design. “We chose to use our large company systems experience and create a single tool that can work for small companies as well as large companies.”
The DecisionPM Appraisal module facilitates employee reviews based on competencies, values, skills, or other criteria. The Objectives module gives employees and managers a reliable way to create and track corporate and individual objectives throughout the year. “The Cascading Objectives feature is an effective way to align corporate objectives from the top down to all employees” added Mr. Davis. “This feature is non-existent among systems targeted for smaller companies.” The Selection module allows recruiting and hiring managers to manage the recruiting process with a system fully integrated with their Appraisals and Objectives processes. Other modules will be incorporated into the collection in the near future.
